Butterfly Valves
The 2" NPT butterfly valve is the standard dispensing mechanism on virtually all HDPE IBC totes. Over time, the valve handle can crack, the disc seal can wear, or the valve body can become contaminated beyond cleaning. Our replacement butterfly valves are direct-fit replacements manufactured to OEM specifications. Available in polypropylene with EPDM seals (standard) or stainless steel with PTFE seals (food-grade and chemical applications). Every valve is pressure-tested before sale.

Replace every 2-3 years under normal use, or immediately if the handle cracks, the seal leaks, or the disc does not close fully. Food-grade applications should replace valves annually or between incompatible product changes.
Cam Lock Adapters
Cam lock (camlock) adapters convert your standard 2" NPT valve outlet to a quick-connect cam lock fitting, enabling tool-free hose connection and disconnection. This is the preferred connection method for operations that frequently change hoses, pumps, or containers. We carry Type A, B, C, D, E, and F cam lock adapters in polypropylene, aluminum, and stainless steel. Available in 1", 1.5", 2", and 3" sizes.

Cam lock adapters last 5-10 years under normal use. Replace gaskets annually or when leaking is observed. Replace the adapter if cam arms become bent, corroded, or no longer lock securely.
Gaskets & Seals
Gaskets are the unsung heroes of leak-free IBC tote operation. The valve gasket, cap gasket, and any adapter gaskets all need to be in good condition to prevent drips, leaks, and contamination. We stock replacement gaskets in EPDM (general purpose), Viton (chemical resistance), silicone (food-grade and high-temperature), and PTFE (universal chemical compatibility). Available for 2" valve connections and 6" top caps.

Replacement Schedule
Replace gaskets every 1-2 years for general use, or immediately when leaking is detected. Food-grade applications should replace gaskets with every product change or at least annually. Always replace gaskets when replacing valves or caps.
Top Fill Caps & Lids
The 6" (150mm) screw cap on top of the IBC tote is critical for preventing contamination, evaporation, and spills. We carry standard solid caps, vented caps (for gravity dispensing and temperature changes), and fine-mesh screened caps (for outdoor use where debris exclusion is needed). All caps include a new gasket and are available in polypropylene or nylon construction.
Quick Specs
- 6" / 150mm standard thread
- Solid, vented, or screened
- New gasket included
- PP or Nylon construction
Detailed Specifications
solid Cap: Standard closure for sealed storage and transport. Prevents contamination and evaporation. Required for DOT-regulated transport.
vented Cap: Includes a one-way or two-way vent that equalizes pressure during gravity dispensing and temperature changes. Prevents vacuum lock during dispensing and pressure buildup from temperature swings. Vent includes particulate filter.
screened Cap: Fine mesh screen (40-80 mesh) in the cap opening allows ventilation while excluding debris, insects, and foreign matter. Ideal for outdoor rainwater collection and agricultural applications.
thread Type: S60x6 buttress thread (standard for most 275 and 330 gallon IBC totes worldwide)
gasket Material: EPDM (standard), Silicone (food-grade), included with every cap
Installation
Remove old cap by unscrewing counterclockwise. Clean the fill opening threads and sealing surface. Verify new gasket is seated properly in the cap. Thread new cap clockwise until hand-tight, then snug 1/4 turn. Do not over-tighten.
Replacement Schedule
Replace caps when threads are damaged, gasket is degraded, or cap does not seal properly. Vented caps should be inspected annually to verify vent function. Screened caps should be cleaned regularly to prevent mesh clogging.
Liner Bags
IBC liner bags provide an additional barrier between your product and the tote bottle, enabling you to use a standard (non-food-grade) tote for food-contact applications, or to protect the tote bottle from staining or contamination by difficult products. Our liner bags are made from FDA-compliant polyethylene film, custom-sized to fit 275-gallon and 330-gallon IBC totes. They feature a top fill spout and a bottom dispensing outlet that aligns with the tote valve.

bottom Outlet: 2" diameter dispensing outlet with twist-tie closure, aligns with bottom valve
shelf Life: 2 years when stored in original packaging away from heat and UV light
Installation
Open the top cap and insert the liner bag through the 6" fill opening. Unfold the liner inside the tote, ensuring it reaches all four corners and the bottom. Pull the fill spout up through the top opening. Connect the bottom outlet to the valve port. Fill the bag through the top spout. Drape excess fill spout over the tote edge and replace the cap over it.
Replacement Schedule
Liner bags are single-use. Replace with each new fill. Do not attempt to wash and reuse liner bags, as this compromises the FDA compliance of the food-contact barrier.
Dust Caps & Valve Covers
Dust caps protect the valve outlet from contamination during storage and transport. A simple but essential accessory for any tote that will sit in a warehouse, on a loading dock, or in outdoor storage for any period of time. Universal chemical compatibility. The safest choice when you are unsure about chemical interaction. Higher cost but eliminates compatibility concerns entirely.
Extend the Life of Your Totes
The most sustainable IBC tote is the one already in service. By replacing a worn valve or gasket instead of scrapping an entire container, you extend the tote's useful life by years and prevent hundreds of pounds of material from entering the waste stream. A new $15 valve can extend the life of a $100+ container by another 2-3 years. Our accessories are designed to keep your existing totes in productive use for as long as possible, which is good for your budget and great for the environment.
